Chances are high that you'll end up in the latter scenario if you have no precise (not rough) idea or plan on how to get into the vacation give-away business. Not that I enjoy being the bearer of bad news, but I say things like they are.

Growing up, I have fond memories of 2 grandmothers whose mission was to “fatten me up”.   Their homemade carmel rolls, kuchen and noodles with cream were heavenly.  Growing up on a farm yet not at all fond of being hot or dirty, I usually volunteered for indoor work.   I had years of piano lessons, so that was another tool I was able to use to avoid chores, because my Mom loves to hear me play.    

I don't take anything for granted.  I feel that every breath I take is a blessing.

Are these vacations genuine? How can they possibly sell such an expensive package for such an incredibly low price?

Absolutely genuine! Resorts as well as marketing companies have been selling similar vacation packages for 25 years and generally selling them at much higher prices. Nearly all hotels, resorts, cruise lines, etc. have vacancies on an ongoing basis. They find that participating in Vacation Package programs is a viable form of "advertising" to bring in guests who obviously then spend money in their restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Today many savvy travelers use promotional packages such as this for their vacations savings thousands of dollars each year.

Here's Question #3

Are there expiration dates on the various offers?

Bobbijo:
Your first two vacation certificates that come with your package are good for one year. All your other free vacations are good for one year after the date you mail in the voucher to activate that particular vacation. The 18 travel discount membership cards can be renewed as a group for only $89.95 per year. This is less than $5.00 per card with more to be added! Many regular cardholders pay from $50 to $199 a year to renew a single card. None of our clients take 25 + vacations with 5 cruises each year. By activating each vacation when you're ready, you can take every vacation at your leisure. And your 25 + bonus vacations are still valid even if you choose not to renew the membership cards.

Here's Question #4

Are the individual vacations and airline discount coupons transferable?

Bobbijo:
YES!! Rarely will you find “Transferable” as an option in the travel industry. But we’ve got you covered! Most families simply do not have the time to take advantage of the wide array of great vacations in this package. So why not use the ones you want and share the rest with family and friends. The membership cards (issued in your name) are not transferable.

How far in advance must we make our reservations?

Bobbijo:
Plan ahead as you would any major vacation, choosing several preferred time periods. Through your club membership, you will also have access to "shorter notice" trips (if they are not sold out) at huge discounts for cruises, vacations and condos worldwide.

Are there any restrictions on when we can travel?

Bobbijo:
Generally speaking, the vacation packages will not be available during the heaviest peak seasons and during the major holidays. Some providers might ask you to submit three choices as to when you want to travel - and they'll nearly always accommodate you. With so many available destinations, you should be able to travel almost any time you wish.

 

Here's Question #7

With such great bargains can I resell some of these individual vacations?

Bobbijo:
No. These are promotional vacations and are not to be individually re-sold. But you can give them away to others. You might even donate a vacation to a non-profit organization or school raffle. If you own a business, reward your best employees. Or use some of the vacations as incentives to increase sales of big-ticket items.

Will I need to go through a sales pitch to get a free cruise?

Bobbijo:
No. No crazy sales pitch! All you need to do is submit a request for your preferred dates and you will be notified as to which one of your preferred dates is available.

Here's Question #9

What is the difference between this and a timeshare?

Bobbijo:
Price and on-going fees.  Most timeshares sell for at least $12,000-20,000, sometimes even $40,000 or $50,000 depending on location.   Once it is fully paid for, as the owner you are still responsible for annual maintenance fees including taxes which range from $400-$700 per year.    If you would like other location options, throw in the fee for exchanging your week.  Another $100-$250/year.  With this program, you choose where you want to go at no extra charge.   When using the bonus vacations, you are responsible for paying the taxes only.  (So if it's a $70/night place, and the taxes per night are $12 --that's the amount you pay to stay --just the $12).  The membership cards are available to be renewed every year, but for just $89.95.  This is the resource you can use to "rent" those same timeshare properties for $400-800 per week but without that initial $12,000 cost.  Anybody want to buy a timeshare now?

What is your refund policy?

Bobbijo:
The travel industry, as a whole, generally does not allow refunds.  Have you ever tried to return your unused airplane ticket?  Once your membership is activated there are absolutely no returns.  I would prefer to get all your questions answered upfront, help you book your first trip so you can feel comfortable with the process for accessing your lifetime of vacations.  If you, however, request a refund with 3 business days upon receipt and the package has not been activated and is in resalable condition, then I will work with you on that.   But I doubt you will even think about this later on.  After 3 business days pass, purchaser agrees to terms of no refunds on merchandise. Weekends are not business days.
